Wow! Enjoy your time in DC! Wow! Smart friends!
Perfect ++! I certainly hope I continue to be challenged by your homilies! You are certainly practicing what you are preaching. Love it!
Beautiful! Absolutely Beautiful! I still have that “control” burden and logic, thinking problem. I am thankful for your continued support and for me trying to “challenge” myself. I’m to laid back in “my” ways. The beauty of the Holy Spirit has been inspiring the last few months. “Inner” Peace is good, need to “share” this Peace with others. Trying to be more child like (in Spirit) in a world which makes us “Grow uo” way to fast. Thanks Padre!
We are all still human…doesn’t sound like you to make excuses…maybe you need a rest. I feel if we are honest with people, they will understand. Happened to me this week too. We are going to get together this week instead. Thanks for the continual Insights on the gospels! Look forward to each week and have been spiritually more active…Thanks!

Charity and Compassion come to mind when I think about this Gospel…I have to confess that when I pray…it is not to Mary or the Saints…I feel we ask Mary and the Saints to pray for us…I’ve had this discussion with friends of mine. I might be wrong, but this is my feelings. Yes,yes we are blessed to have sooo many powerful “people” to from…but prayer is more about “me”…I might not be as Catholic as I could be…To me the most important things ever said by anyone is the Our Father and the Last Supper Body /Blood of Christ. Everything else are “tools” of Faith.KISS (keep it simple stupid) is how I try to be. Since retirement, I’ve become lazy and complacent…I pray for leadership that I have seen here, to succeed in making our lives better in whole. The Holy Spirit is truely speaking…bring as many people as we can back to Mass. I tell myself to have faith that God continues to “heal”, to allow the “deaf” to hear His voice. If I don’t “drag” or “ask” people I know to “come back”, blah, blah, blah…Thank you for everything being shared here. PLEASE continue!August 20, 2021 at 19:28 in reply to: August 22, 2021, Twenty-first Sunday in Ordinary Time #1625
I love every single word that I’ve read from both of you! Both of you are truely blessed and enlightened.we’ve been doing this for 4 or 5 weeks now. I continue having barrier after barrier. The latest one scared me…the Gospel is a gift to “US” from Christ. I don’t know if I’m smart, faithful or blessed enough to make the Gospel “personal” and share it as an “individual”…it is truely beautiful what both of you have written. SHARE THESE THOUGHTS WITH “US” not just me…this is valuable insight and needs to be shared with all. You two are beautiful people!:Thank You!
I’m still trying to be open to my experience, my relationship with Jesus. I don’t take these matters lightly.
Padre when we 1st met, you liked it when I said “let me think about it”, I haven’t changed in that matter. I’m just not ready to “babble” about my thoughts in the Gospel. They are beautiful to “me” as are your insights being beautiful to “me”.
Sherri, I agree with Padre 100% about this being beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
No deaf ears here.
You are Loved! The Homily will be received by many…tomorrow!?! OR Here! Jesus is keeping us in check!?! Lol…Keep up the good work! Jesus is using you like we need him to use you…is that alright for me to say?
Thanks Padre for sharing your thoughts. I like what you are saying. I’m going to need sometime to “look” at “Life” in this way. Different way of thinking. I like it, but difficult for me.
Jesus is known by many! However, do we love him and “believe” him as we should. “Praying” that we continue to “grow” fonder of His “Mission” each waking minute.
I think I’m in! Thanks! Reflections later this week…
